My pet portraits are created either in collage, painted acrylic or a combination of both called mixed media. And yes, I’ve painted an absolutely adorable hamster.

All of my work is produced on a 1.5” deep “gallery” wrapped canvas that you can hang directly on the wall without a frame. The sides are treated as a continuation of the work so you get a sliver of color even from elsewhere in the room.

My Process

I charge $1 per square inch (H x W) for paintings, $1.75 per square inch for collages, which includes materials. Minimum price is $150 regardless of size.

I love working on custom sized artwork and am happy to accommodate you or your designer. I also work with you to determine a color palette you’re comfortable with. You can see just on this page how different Gigi, Max, Buddy and Charlie are.

I always use professional-grade acrylic paint and sealant. Collage pieces have more texture by nature, using found materials and acrylic paint. All work is finished with at least three coats of sealant, and is signed not only on the front but also on the back along with the date.
